A cold evening on the lawns with some hot and tempting seafood made for a beautiful dining experience at Intercontinental The Lalit golf & spa , Sea Food Festival available for dinner till December 14. Chef Singh first brought the seafood salad. which was an ideal way to start for this salad, It tasted just just my culinary fare at the Seafood Festival. Salads are always right with just the right amount of Goan flavour. The great as they come in the hint of the teppal (tefla) most unexpected manner.

It was love at first sight- and sweetness of honey the colourfully presented dish heightened the taste of that had boan red masala marinated pan seared fish, squids and prawns with baked mozzarella cherry tomatoes, bell peppers and lettuce that formed the dressing Goans can never have enough of an affair with their rish.

And just as I was enjoying the flavours of the sald, the lobster thermidor drew me in. Served with oven baked jacket potatoes and garden fresh mix greens, this cheesy delicacy cooked in a continental style was great in flavour, texture and presentation too. The fresh meat was delicious and went well with the baked potatoes.

A bed of Mediterranean couscous olive salsa enhanced the taste of the baked red snapper filet. The fish cocked to perfection retained its natural flavours that complement-ed the gently flavoured tex-mex couscous along with stuffed cheese cherry tomatoes. Vibrant red stuffed crabs appeared to be spicy at first glance. However, it wasn’t. The chefs explained that the fresh crab meat mashed thin and sauteed with recheado masala. Set on a bed of mashed potatoes, it was accompanied by salad that you would normally be served with while eating a fish thal. There’s as much fish in various preparation to get you hooked. You can also try out the all time favourite calamari fritti served with tartar sauce, mussels rawa fry or butter garlic, sea food chowder served with bread rolls or opt for preparations like grilled fish, tan-door, oriental and more. I’m sure if you go for the fish at the festival, there will be hardly any space for dessert, but if you do crave for something sweet there’s fruit salad, cream caramel and chocolate brownie with ice cream to choose from. While the prices at the festival range between 2120 to 21600, those fond of fresh seafood shouldn’t miss this.
